Long term support (LTS)

There are currently several version of the simulator that are maintained as of 2026: v8.8 and v9.3. They are maintained as long as the last recurrency​ study occurency is needed which is about 2 years.​

The interface of Antares Web adapts to the version of the study. For example if a new parameter has been added in v9.3, it will be displayed in the interface.

Retrocompatibility

Antares Simulator is retrocompatible. For example, you can run a study created for the v9.6 version with the v9.3 simulator.

Furthermore it’s possible to migrate a study from a older version to a newer with antares-study-version available on PyPi.
